The Story

With over two decades in government and commercial contracting, my work has spanned the full lifecycle, from capture and proposal through negotiation, to accounting, contract management, compliance, and performance. I’ve advised leadership teams, navigated complex regulatory environments, and helped organizations recover revenue, mitigate risk, and strengthen their contract position. More importantly, I’ve seen what works and what consistently doesn’t.

Over time, I’ve had a front-row seat to how commercial and government contractors actually operate, under pressure, inside negotiations, behind the scenes in the back office, through audits, and in the quiet moments before proposals are submitted, and opportunities are won or lost.

What I’ve learned isn’t theoretical.
It’s observed. Repeated. Patterned.

And it shows up the same way, over and over again.

I’ve seen strong companies lose because they weren’t structured to win.

I’ve seen compliance treated as a last-minute scramble, only to become the very thing that delayed or derailed performance.

I’ve seen contracts managed in isolation, disconnected from the bigger picture of growth.

And I’ve seen what happens when those pieces finally come together:

Decisions get sharper

Risk gets managed earlier

Opportunities stop slipping through the cracks

Revenues are optimized

The difference isn’t capability.  It’s readiness.

What do those lessons mean for you?

High-performing organizations understand that competitive advantage is created by bringing the right expertise to the right decision at the right time. They invest in qualified professionals and foster collaboration across the operating ecosystem.

That level of operation doesn’t happen by accident.  It’s built, deliberately.

I take what I’ve learned over years of real-world, firsthand experience contracting in federal, commercial, and SLED environments and translate it into a strategy you can actually use.

Together, we:

  • Turn compliance into a strategic advantage
  • Strengthen how contracts are positioned and executed
  • Build the internal structure needed to support real growth
